Over three years, my work with LINC UP led to greater brand awareness, higher impact across social media platforms, and a greater public understanding of LINC UP’s work. I collaborated with LINC UP’s executive leadership team to develop and implement communications strategies, create consistency across platforms, and redesign the website to be more user-friendly. In addition to developing communications strategy, we created systems to update content, identify core messaging needs, and grew LINC UP’s engaged audience substantially.

Three Years of Growth and Impact
Our team worked strategically to grow brand awareness by creating public awareness campaigns focused on LINC UP’s advocacy targets. As a result greater online engagement and consistent community engagement activities, LINC UP’s digital and in-person audience grew leading to stronger relationships with partners, local officials, and community advocates. Our greatest strength was ensuring the LINC UP brand reflected the community and centered the organization’s narrative within the community’s power to make community and systems-level change.
Implementing a robust communications strategy positioned LINC UP as an advocacy leader in the affordable housing space. As a result of our growth and engagement, LINC UP also became a leading voice in advocacy spaces adjacent to affordable housing, including workforce development, policing reform, and economic investment in disenfranchised communities.
